My latest experience in childcare has been by being an Au Pair taking care of a 3 years old girl and living with a host family, I enjoyed my experience a lot.

I have no problem doing indoor or outdoor activities, if we have a sunny day I love taking the kids to the park so they can meet other kids as well, picnic, etc. On the other hand, if we have a rainy day we can work on crafts and have fun playing with toys to keep them actively working on something and having fun.

I think the most important part about being a nanny is the fact of being focused, avoiding distractions and always paying attention to what kids do, not leaving them alone, and always keep the parents post on every activities we do.

My favorite nanny moment is when going to the park, I think this fact helps kids to socialize with others. Going to the park is always an adventure.

I took care of 4 little ones; 1 year and a half, 6 years, 9 years and 11 years. In my country I studied music with two emphasis so I taught them all to sing and play the piano. I spoke to the youngest in Spanish from the beginning and now that he is 2 and a half years old he speaks and understands it very well.
I learned different things from each one, we have an excellent relationship and we are still in communication.
After my time like Au Pair I was nanny here for 5 months of a little girl (1 year and half) but then she started daycare, so they didn’t need me anymore.
