"I am writing this referral letter for Veronica Dillehay, who was a caregiver for my father, James, for a period of 2 years and 6 months During this time, Veronica was not only a companion and friend to James but also provided exceptional caregiving services.
Veronica would gladly do any caregiving task that was asked of her. She always kept me informed of his vital signs (e.g., blood pressure and temperature). She would also spend time with James and talk with him or take him to places he wanted to go. This resulted in a higher quality-of-life for James.
Unfortunately, Veronica could no longer work as a caregiver for James when she accepted a position with another caregiving provider. However, if the opportunity ever arose, I would not hesitate to hire her again for caregiving services."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have 6 children and I Volunteered at my kid's school through their youth. When residing in Albuquerque New Mexico, I also babysit kids and my friend's kids. I love children. If I could I would have more. I am blessed with six and that is great.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Reading, helping them spell words, and helping them by using their mind with new ideas for learning good and kind positive thinking. Puzzles, riding bikes, and going to the park. Walking the dog, or cat. Helping them by doing hands-on activities for them to have a better understanding of how things work and how they are used.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Respect the families and their children. When I am in their presence, they are my priority. Safety and Awareness are important as well.
My experience with special needs children...
I have taken care of a child with special needs in Albuquerque. For a friend of mine, for a couple of years. I would assist her by helping her get whatever she needed that day to go out. I also helped at a group home with special need in Livermore CA. Although it was not with children I learned a lot and I enjoyed helping them by being a friend to them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I was in New Mexico and I was watching one of my friend's kids we were watching TV. The toddler changed the channel to something inappropriate and I did not know until I heard what came out of his mouth it was a bad word, I said to him no we can't say that. He laughed with the cutest laugh smiled at me and ran off.

I have years of hands-on caregiving experience from helping care for my sister with cerebral palsy, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and making sure she is comfortable and safe. I’m also CPR certified. I’m responsible, attentive, and would treat the children I care for with the same kindness and patience I would want for my own family.

Hi! I’m a certified science teacher who genuinely loves working with children and supporting families. Caring for kids has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I helped care for my younger siblings growing up and babysat for families in my church as a teenager.
As a teacher, one of the most rewarding parts of my work has been building relationships with parents and becoming someone they can trust. I know how important it is for parents to feel confident that their children are safe, cared for, and understood. I’m happy to follow your routines, respect your parenting style, and support the goals you have for your children.
I bring a patient, nurturing, and dependable approach to childcare, with a genuine interest in getting to know each child and helping them feel happy, confident, and supported. I have a BS and MA in Anthropology, with a focus on human biology and culture, and I love finding ways to make everyday moments fun and meaningful.
