More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have volunteered at daycares, churches and homeschool organizations since I was in high school.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Exploring is ALWAYS a favorite with both the kiddos and myself! Indoors and out!!! Finding treasures outside and asking a child if they knew that item ***insert cool, random fact known about said item (age appropriate)*** is a Blessing among Blessings! Hearing a random fact that was delivered from an adult, but have them intrigued then watch wonder and Light in their eyes makes it all worth the while.
To be an infant or toddlers right hand is also top of my list! That includes diaper changing, feeding, reading books, interacting with all their senses, comforting and watching them sleep as well as grow!
Then there's the staples...outside play with toys, equipment and Nature. All types of games to include physical play like hide & seek then board games, educational ones as well. I even get into video games if the child is permitted and We have included physical play and nutrition beforehand.
Every child is their own ball of Greatness. The experience unfolds Naturally

Being part of a child's Life and giving them something to use as a stepping stone to wherever they might want to be then or in their later years!

My experience with special needs children...

I am a Genuinely Understanding individual. I see things in a child's eyes that some don't. My Patience is vast and is my biggest asset when interacting with a child. Any child requires Patience.
I have many years of experience learning and being of aid to those who are neurodivergent. In all of its form. Also, many days I've Shared with deaf children. Definitely open to refreshing my sign language!!! Also, I'm open to more Time with those who have down syndrome. I have some experience, but would enjoy more Shared moments as they have shown me so much about nurturing and Gratitude!!!
