Hi! My name is Veronica, and I’m 24 years old. I have over 10 years of babysitting experience, starting at age 14. I’ve cared for children of all ages, including my younger brother and many of my cousins since they were infants.

I volunteered at a daycare in high school, working with children ranging from infants to Pre-K. I also volunteered at the elementary school connected to my high school, where I worked with children with special needs. The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable, cared for, and understood. Building trust with both the child and the parents is key, while also making sure the child is engaged, learning, and having fun.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was when a child I was babysitting, who was usually very shy, finally opened up after we spent the day playing games and reading together. At the end of the night, they hugged me and asked if I could come back the next day. It was such a small moment, but it meant a lot knowing I made them feel safe and happy.
