Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Encouraging drawing art work for the parents when they start to ask when mom and dad will be home.
Cooking dinner or preparing a meal that they enjoy and look forward to.
Helping them with homework, school work, any social friend problems they may encounter, arts and crafts. Also encouraging them to ask their parents things they are unsure of, for example: two sibling might not get a long, first I would ask why to assess if there is anything that could be immediately done to fix the situation. Then start to look for solutions (maybe it’s close to dinner time) (sharing may be a problem because of x y or z) I like to make sure siblings are able to get along & discuss it with their parents after. (Unless needed earlier I will text & call)
Sledding and looking/discussing animals that are in the backyard.
Learning what they enjoy to do & would like to become in the future.
My goal is to be a good role model for everyone’s child & leave the sink empty & clean by the end of the night.

Playing toy trucks in a sandbox with a 2 year old boy I would nanny 5 days a week.
I also once got to babysit for a family that spoke English and Spanish. We spent most of our time drawing, singing and eating pizza. There was also a dog that we had to make sure got outside safely as it was a bigger more energetic puppy.
I don’t think I’d be able to choose just one as I have babysat and nannied for many families and have enjoyed meeting each and everyone of them. I have many favorite nanny stories.
