Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have years of experience in childcare, which began when my younger brother was born when I was ten years old. It was just my mother and I, so by the time I was fifteen, I was responsible for him nearly every day. That experience led me to a series of nanny/babysitting jobs over the years, with kiddos ranging from 1 to 12 years old. I worked in childcare at my church in high school as well, so I honed my skills when it came to caring for multiple kids at once (up to 15 in the class I taught alone)! I really enjoy spending time with kids and doing what I can to help them grow. I consider the kids I work with to be some of the greatest friends I'll ever have.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to go outside with kids any chance I get, whether its taking a walk around the neighborhood, running around in the backyard, or going to a local park. I also really like to play board games/chess, do arts and crafts, and clean/organize toys with older kiddos.
