The most important part of being a nanny is ensuring the children’s safety while also providing a nurturing and structured environment. I believe in supporting their emotional and developmental growth while maintaining good communication with parents to make sure we are working as a team.
My experience with special needs children...
I also have experience caring for a child with special needs through helping with my cousin. This experience taught me to be patient, attentive, and understanding of different needs. I learned how important routine, clear communication, and a calm environment can be for children. It also helped me develop empathy and the ability to adapt activities to make sure the child feels comfortable, supported, and included.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny is when a child learns something new or becomes more confident. For example, helping a child complete a puzzle, learn new words, or seeing how proud they are when they accomplish something on their own. Those small moments are very rewarding and remind me why I enjoy working with children.
