Since transitioning into private nannying, I’ve worked with multiple families providing full-time, part-time, and occasional care. My experience includes newborns, infants, toddlers, school-aged children, twins/multiples, and sibling groups. I’ve also assisted families with school pick-ups/drop-offs, transportation to activities, meal preparation, children’s laundry, light housekeeping, organizing, and maintaining daily routines.

I love keeping kids active and engaged with activities based on their age and interests. Some of my favorites include arts & crafts, sensory activities, reading, puzzles and games, outdoor play, playground trips, nature walks, library visits, playdates, and age-appropriate outings. I also enjoy movie days, baking, imaginative play, and finding new activities for us to try together.

The most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting relationship with both the children and their family. I believe children should feel safe, comfortable, loved, and supported while in my care, and parents should feel confident knowing their children are in good hands. Communication, consistency, patience, and creating a genuine bond with the family are all very important to me.

I have experience caring for children with autism and ADHD. I understand that every child has different needs, routines, communication styles, and ways of learning. I’m patient, attentive, and able to adjust my approach based on what works best for each child. I’m also comfortable following parents’ routines, strategies, and preferences to provide consistency and help their child feel supported and comfortable.

My favorite nanny moments are always the little milestones—watching a baby I cared for take their first steps, hearing new words, celebrating birthdays, first days of school, and watching their personalities grow over the years. Being able to become such a trusted and consistent part of a child’s life is definitely one of my favorite parts of being a nanny.
