A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Victoria, and I am a sophomore at Western Carolina University pursuing a double major in Secondary English Education and Education. I have known since the third grade that I wanted to become a teacher, and I have been working toward that goal ever since.

Through West Caldwell’s Teacher Cadet Program, I began student teaching in classrooms at the age of 15, gaining valuable hands-on experience working with students and educators. In addition, I frequently care for my two young nieces, which has further strengthened my patience, responsibility, and ability to work with children.

I am currently saving to pay off my student debt before the next school year, and I take pride in being a hardworking and self-motivated individual. I do not expect opportunities to be handed to me; instead, I am committed to earning them through dedication and effort. I also enjoy cooking and am always willing to help with cleaning and household responsibilities.
