Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I absolutely love getting creative, exploring, and having fun with little ones! Some of my favorite activities include painting, arts and crafts, sensory play, music, dancing, reading, and imaginative play.
I'm a big outdoor enthusiast and enjoy nature walks, gardening, exploring parks, collecting little treasures from nature, and encouraging children to discover the world around them!
I also love incorporating age-appropriate cooking and baking, simple science experiments, and everyday life skills into our activities.
I believe some of the best learning happens through play, curiosity, and hands-on experiences. Whether we're getting a little messy with paint, baking something delicious, or discovering bugs in the garden, I love making everyday moments fun and meaningful!
Of course, I always consider each child's age, interests, abilities, and individual needs. Every child is different, and that's part of what makes working with them so wonderful!

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a genuine connection with each child and earning the trust of their family.
Every child is their own little person, with a unique personality, strengths, feelings, and way of learning. I believe it's important to take the time to truly get to know them, listen to their voices, and help them feel safe, loved, respected, and appreciated.
I want children to grow up knowing that their thoughts matter, that it's okay to make mistakes, and that they're capable of doing amazing things!
I also believe in teaching kindness, compassion, respect, independence, and confidence while allowing children to enjoy the wonderful experience of simply being little.
As both a mother and an educator, I understand the tremendous trust parents place in someone caring for their children. I take that responsibility seriously and believe in working alongside families to provide consistent, nurturing, and dependable care. ❤️

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite traditions is hosting a big classroom campout at the end of the school year! 🏕️ I bring in a tent, we build a pretend campfire, make and enjoy our own s'mores (no real fire needed! 😄), sing campfire songs, go on imaginary nature adventures, pretend we're fishing, and play all sorts of games!
The children absolutely LOVE it, and honestly, I have just as much fun as they do! Seeing their excitement, hearing their laughter, and watching their imaginations come to life are some of my favorite parts of being a teacher. It's those silly, simple, unforgettable moments that make childhood so special! ❤️

Hi! I’m a freshman nursing major at George Fox University, and I love caring for kids. I grew up babysitting my younger brother, who’s now 9, and I’ve also babysat for other families. For the past four summers, I’ve been a leader at my church’s Vacation Bible School, where I’ve enjoyed helping kids learn, play, and feel included. I’m responsible, caring, and excited to make your family’s babysitting experience a great one!
Part-Time Nanny Available in Newberg, OR: Remi G.
Hi there! My name is Remi, i am 18 years old. I am also CPR and Aed certified for adults, children and infants. I was also a live in nanny during the height of Covid. I absolutely love working with kids, and their rambunctiousness. I myself am very high energy and love to find ways to entertain little ones whether that be learning some fun things, doing arts and crafts, learning to talk with your hands like sign language! I also enjoy playing dress up of the sorts such as hair and nails or getting down dirty in the mud learning about bugs even! I have a dog myself as well as a cat so I love all kinds of animals. I enjoy light cleaning and cooking as well. During my live in nannying experience, I cooked, cleaned and made sure they went to school and were entertained 80% of the time. I also handled after school activities.
