More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I used to take care of my 2 neighbors, but more of a family friend situation. My 2 neighbors never got along; they were both troublemakers, always looking for some drama, pranking people, fighting each other, always trying to outdo the other. It was exhausting trying to keep the peace between them, especially because they seemed to feed off each other's energy and only made the situation worse when brought together, but still begged to be together it took a lot of patientce but finally getting them to talk to eachother and understand both their feelings, they meant no harm just love to bicker but their more peaceful about it now.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Depending on their age, interests, and energy level. For younger kids, I might have a dance party, put on a puppet show, play with play-dough, or build a fort/obstacle course, play with dolls, For older kids, I would plan outdoor games like tag, capture the flag, or treasure hunt, or involve them in creative activities like baking, building, or doing crafts. I also loved playing cards and board games with my siblings.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, it's creating a genuine connection with the child or children I care for. I believe it's important to take the time to understand their interests and needs and to create an environment where they feel safe, loved, and supported!

My experience with special needs children...

I haven't taken care of special needs children, but I do have a friend who has autism, and I've found that patience and understanding are important, as they may have different communication styles or sensory sensitivities, and giving a supportive and structured environment can be helpful.
