A little bit about me

My name is Virginia McGuire. I worked at a middle school in Granbury, Tx for 7 yrs. I was a para professional aide in Life Skills. The children were mentally challenged and at different levels

From there I moved to Irving. I kept children in my home. They were pre-school age. I also had one after school child. I loved my job at the school and I loved keeping children in my home.

I have also worked with mentally and physically challenged adults. I've taken care of elderly people also.

I'm 64. I haven't worked in 6 yrs. I really miss it so thought I'd look into this. I can't lift adults anymore. I currently live in Waxahachie.

I'm a Christian. I used to teach my day care children about Jesus.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at a middle school in Granbury for 7 yrs. I was a para professional aide in Life Skills. Then I moved to Irving and kept children in my home. I kept 3 at a time and one child after school. I truly loved my time at the school, and keeping children.

I have also worked with mentally challenged adults. I also worked in home health taking care of elderly people for many yrs. I am no longer able to lift adults.

I live on a fixed income. I can only work part time with the benefits I receive. I can work up to 25 hrs a week.

I moved to Waxahacie and haven't worked the 6 yrs I've lived here. I miss being with people so I thought I'd check into this.

I am a Christian. I taught my day care children about Jesus. I can do that with your child if you'd like. That is a personal issue so it would be totally your choice.
