Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy coloring and drawing with children as it's a very therapeutic activity as well as a a great way of expressing emotions. Children, for the most part, are unable to specifically and accurately communicate their feelings. Activities with the main focal point of expressing and decompressing are my key methods.
My experience with special needs children...
For one of my class periods in high school, I chose to be a teacher's assistant for the special education class. Patience, compassion, and caution were the most valuable skills I developed assisting the teachers in charge.
