Relevant experience where I also cared for children were through my work as a nanny and as a mother.
I have cared for children between 10 months and 5 years old, including my own son.
During this time, I have supported children with daily routines, learning activities, arts and crafts, and positive behavior guidance.
I have also volunteered helping friends and families with childcare when needed.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

When I meet a new child, I always like to observe what they enjoy doing or if they have a favorite interest. If they love animals, we can play “I see, i see” or guess what sound the dinosaur or the lion makes.

If they like to paint —which is also one of my favorite activities— we look for pictures to color, fun objects to decorate, or we simply draw and paint together. I also enjoy doing outdoor activities, such as small obstacle courses (running, ducking, tossing a ball, and coming back), playing freeze tag, ball games, hide and seek, or anything the child prefers.

I love using imagination to make learning fun. On rainy days, I like to keep them entertained not only with games but also with learning activities —like practicing numbers, recognizing their name and initial, or learning the ABCs— using an activity notebook full of creativity and joy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was when I truly felt the children’s genuine affection. That day, before I left, the youngest boy, who is 3 years old, hugged me and sweetly said, “Don’t go, I’m going to miss you.” It was such a touching moment. Then, his older brother, who is 5, told his mom, “She’s my favorite nanny, don’t change her.”
Those sweet words reminded me why I love what I do —because I don’t just take care of children, I build connections full of trust, love, and joy.
