I have been a part of the Progressive Education Program for the last 2 years at school, mentoring and teaching students with moderate to severe physical and intellectual disabilities. My involvement includes teaching students how to take care of and express their needs, master daily living tasks and varying levels of academics. An additional part of my responsibilities include helping them to eat and toilet appropriately when necessary. I have participated in the PEP prom and the PEP Special Olympics.
