I've worked within a nursery at my church in Georgia (I worked mostly with toddlers 2-5); however, kids up until the age of 8 are always welcomed. As I've previously mentioned, I've cared for 2 boys and a girl which included: diaper changes, meal preparations, play times, outings to parks, etc..
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
In terms of indoor activities, I enjoy reading with the children, legos, trains, trucks; I'll play barbie dolls with the young girls. Brantley and Carter (my two other boys) really enjoy puzzles and building things, so challenging things that stimulate the child's mind.
In terms of outdoors, I love playing with the kids at the park or simple letting them play in the dirt. I've given the boy baths many times, so dirt isn't a problem at all.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Essentially, I want the kids to have as much fun with me as possible. I've taken children to parks, aquariums, zoos, arcade.. you name it. I want not only to have a good relationship with the children but also with the parents, for that's extremely important to be able to effectively communicate with one another, especially when it involves children. I do follow parent's rules religiously - I believe that one of the most important parts of being a nanny (other than safety) is respecting the parent's/legal guardian's instruction/rules when they're away and you're alone with the children.
