Hi! I’m Whitney, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. My background in education, early childhood learning, and working as both a teacher and librarian has given me experience with children of different ages, personalities, abilities, and learning styles. I have also had the privilege of working with children with special needs which has taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, understanding, and meeting each child where they are. I believe children learn best when they are given opportunities to explore, ask questions, be creative, and learn through hands-on experiences—not simply sitting in front of a screen. I love reading with children, doing crafts and activities, getting outside, playing games, and finding fun ways to turn everyday moments into learning opportunities. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys getting to know each child as an individual.
