A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Whitley Buchanan and I am from Wynne Arkansas but currently lives in Jonesboro Arkansas. If you've noticed I do not have much Nanny experience except for family friends asking me to take care of their children from time to time. I worked as an after school teacher for 1-2 graders at Jonesboro School district (VPA) for a school year. I have always loved children and have found to be great with them. My hours are very flexible. I may not be certified in CPR or First Aid but I have went through all of the Anatomy and Physiology, First Aid, and CPR classes that my high school had to offer, unfortunately I did not get to finish the certifications due to Covid my senior year. I am so excited to start my nanny journey!

I was an after school teacher at Jonesboro School District VPA for Cane Academy for a school year, I helped first - second graders complete homework and made sure they were having a good time! I had a group of 7 kids while being there.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going to parks, getting snacks or ice cream, taking walks, playing games, reading, homework, and watching movies!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure the kid is having fun while also being productive. Of course there's a fun way to learn and do homework if needed!

My experience with special needs children...

In high school I helped out the special needs students in my classes, however I have not had experience with anyone under the age of 15, but I am willing to learn.
