Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was an after school kindergarten teacher for 4 years. And summer day canoe counselor for two summers. As well as an overnight camp counselor for one summer.
I also worked previously at Build-A-Bear Workshop, Disney World (in Florida), and most recently at the LEGO store. These places have allowed me to become comfortable with children and provide a safe but fun environment for children to learn and grow.

Playtime is so important! It provides children with an opportunity to use their imagination and vocalize their interest. Whether it’s pretending to be mermaids, knights, or superheroes I am willing and excited to participate.
I enjoy activities like arts and crafts, singing, and my time with the Walt Disney Company has made me quite the expert on Disney movies.

Being a positive influence. If the children you are with are comfortable with you. It can go along way. I think the most important part is being able to provide a safe environment for children to express themselves and allow them to understand their emotions.

I do not have a favorite nanny moment since my experience as a one on one nanny is not much. But my experience with children in general, especially with the Walt Disney company and the LEGO store has helped me realize that I enjoy creating good memories and experiences for children to look back on.
