I volunteered to work with kids in the nursery of my old church, Volunteered at The Boys And Girls Club a while back, I've also volunteered for kids with Earth Day projects ! I also have a son and raised my brothers . I have also worked under the table jobs as a babysitter !
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to be crafty so I really like to make sentimental things with the kids but I also love to let the kids (kid) communicate with me on what is fun for them , that way I can bond with them.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have a lot of experience with children with disabilities unfortunately , However I have experienced volunteering at dances with children who are on the spectrum, some with Asperger Syndrome, And I love them all but I have never worked one on one at home :)
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was at Ihop with my son & they set my food down and my son grabbed my eggs right off my plate as soon as the plate hit the table! (he's almost a year)
