The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was during a rainy afternoon when the toddler I was caring for started clapping and swaying to a song I sang while we cleaned up toys. Out of nowhere, he looked up, gave me the biggest grin, and tried singing along in his own little way. We ended up turning cleanup time into a full-on dance party. It reminded me how much joy toddlers find in the simplest things—and how moments like that build connection and trust in such a natural, beautiful way.
