I love teaching kids soccer, dance, and cheer because that's what I grew up with and still practice to this day. I can paint and do puzzles with them for a more therapeutic time.

It's being there for the kids , and I don't mean just physically I mean picking up on their emotions and getting to know what they like. It's important to communicate that I and parents or guardians are in the same page of what needs to be going on their life on a daily basis. It's important that as their nanny they trust you and know they can count on you when their parents are not there or when they are as well.

When I graduated high school I worked at clinic called Learning Arts in San Leandro, CA. They are dedicated to working with children on the spectrum and I gained a lot of experience. I was in the process of getting my CA license to become a BA but because of Covid things majorly changed my course.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The best memory I have is from working with Learning Arts one my kids had trouble with speech and we worked hard for a whole month to remember what to call his immediate family. When he said "mom" for the first ever his mom and I cried for a whole 5 minutes. It was just the best feeling seeing how happy she was and it made happy that I was able to encourage and be a part of that moment.
