When I was an aupair. I used to have many kids to watch at the same time and I learned so much from these experiences.

I like to play card games, crafts and build things. Outside I like to play ball and make bubbles, it’s so fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is making sure you are there for the kids when they need you. Many of us know how it’s to be a kid and don’t have someone to protect you. Knowing that the kids are safe with me, makes me happy and also I feel I’m doing something right in the world.

My experience with special needs children...

I had a girl with autism in my first year as an aupair in Chicago. It was very challenging because I didn’t have a good English to communicate with the host family and the kid didn’t talk. It was a time that I needed to learn everything that was possible to help, I learned some American signs language. What used to help me, was she being so cute and lovely, she used to like hugs so much and I miss her ❤️
