More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My most relevant experience in childcare comes from my volunteer work both in my country and in the United States, where I have cared for children with limited behavioral abilities. However, I have found that when treated with love and patience, these children respond positively. As a nanny, I have also seen families deeply appreciate the academic progress and behavioral improvements their children achieve under my care. I focus on positive behavior modification, reinforcing boundaries and household rules, while creating a supportive and structured environment for their development.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy engaging children in a variety of activities that foster exploration, cognitive development, and self-awareness. I love helping them discover what makes them happy, what frustrates them, and how to regulate their emotions positively. Some of my favorite activities include solving puzzles, encouraging creativity through storytelling, and hands-on projects that allow them to express themselves. Depending on their age, I also enjoy baking simple treats like cakes, making the experience both fun and educational. Every activity is tailored to the child’s personality, interests, and developmental needs, ensuring a meaningful and enriching experience that supports their growth.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is the opportunity to help shape kind, confident, and responsible individuals who will positively impact the world. Beyond just caring for children, a nanny plays a crucial role in their emotional, social, and cognitive development. It is fulfilling to know that the love, guidance, and values instilled in them during their early years will stay with them as they grow.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this profession is leaving a lasting impression on a child’s heart, being a source of encouragement, support, and inspiration. Watching them develop important life skills, build self-confidence, and navigate challenges with resilience is truly priceless. Even more meaningful is when, years later, they remember and appreciate the impact you had on their upbringing. Knowing you have helped shape their journey and that they carry those lessons forward makes being a nanny such a profound and beautiful experience.

My experience with special needs children...
My experience with children with special needs is limited, but I have had the opportunity to work with them in a foundation setting. I understand that caring for and supporting these children requires patience, dedication, and a structured approach tailored to their unique needs. Effective strategies include motor therapy exercises to enhance physical coordination, structured physical activities to support their overall development, and the consistent use of repetition to reinforce learning. Additionally, positive behavior reinforcement plays a crucial role in encouraging desired behaviors and fostering self-confidence. Creating a predictable routine, using visual aids for communication, and adapting activities to their abilities are also essential in promoting their growth and well-being. My goal is always to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where each child feels supported, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment as a nanny will always be when children achieve something on their own. Seeing their faces light up with happiness and pride when they reach a goal they have been working toward is truly rewarding, whether it’s understanding a new topic, riding a bike, learning to play a song, or getting good grades. Those moments of triumph and self-discovery are what make this job so special.
