Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
The experience i have is with my own grandchildren (12). Their ages are from 6 to 28 yrs of age. One is in the Air Force and the others are school age of in college. Grandma was involved with all of them. Great kids!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I write children's stories.
I enjoy making reading and teaching comprehension, it is important it sharpens their listening skills. When I was young i was a teacher's aide, reading and writing and basic math was my job. I enjoy roll playing, walks, ice cream, games outside. I try to stay away from blue light and TV.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is winning the children's trust. Second, watching mom and dad see happy children. I love cooking for a big family, it's nice to see mom and dad come home to a great meal and sharing a day with " Love".
As for new borns....lots of holding in warm arms....having baby fed and always clean and huggable.

My experience with special needs children...
My years with school age children have been with special resources, children with slow learning skills. These children were all in Middle school.
Since then I now pass my skills to my middle school age granddaughter.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Watching them inner act with each other, observing their patience with each other. Seeing smiling faces when they have reached a goal, winning a race, baking cookies....making their beds and making a big deal when they cleaned up after themselves.
