I became a teacher assistant for a preschool while still in college. I was doing volunteer hours to be able to graduate. I learned how to engage in age appropriate lessons, how communicate with children at their level, and how to make sure children are having fun while learning. All these play a huge part in children’s development because preschool is the start of their education.
