I am currently a SAHW and Atlanta native with a Professional Educator and Professional Caregiver background. I'm passionate about educating and developing young minds and bodies to be the kindest, brightest and more capable versions they can be. I spend my days tuned into my latest audiobook, crocheting a new project, cooking/baking for my family and managing my diverse community book club potlucks and quarterly brunches.

I thrive in loving families that practice open communication and are flexible in their approach to child-rearing and structure. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a professional 7th grade science teacher for a school in DeKalb County [phone number hidden]. I have taught in Coding and STEAM Camps for elementary schools in the Atlanta Public School district for the last 4 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing on bikes and scooters etc. outdoors, playing and teaching card games like Uno, Go Fish and Crazy 8, playing Hide and Seek, Tag, Red Rover, Mother May I, Simon Says, Red Light Green Light and so many more activities. I enjoy engaging little girls in playing with their LOL and OMG dolls and dress-up/fashion shows. I've pitched homemade tents in the basement and have just followed the leads of the children with whatever activities they are interested in doing together. I have painted unicorns and guided children through games of Battleship and Minecraft.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Seeing my charges thriving, developing properly and happy are what is most important to me as a nanny. Anytime a child or their parents can see positive progression in themselves or their child(ren) is a plus for me. I also appreciate witnessing parents successfully use some of my techniques and caregiving/educational hacks. It makes me feel valuable and appreciated by the ones I serve.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve cared for non-verbal autistic children, verbal autistic children, children with severe allergies/asthma and more. My classroom experience offered me exposure to students with ODD, ADHD, EID and bipolar disorder.
