More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes working as a full-time nanny for a family with two young children, ages 3 and 6, for over 4 years. In that role, I managed daily routines such as school drop-offs and pick-ups, meal preparation, organizing educational and creative activities, outdoor play, and bedtime routines. I also assisted with homework and helped reinforce positive behavior and good manners.
In addition, I have experience providing occasional evening and weekend care for infants and toddlers, including diaper changes, bottle feeding, nap schedules, and maintaining a safe environment. I have also supported families with light housekeeping related to the children, laundry, and transportation to extracurricular activities.
These experiences have helped me develop strong multitasking skills, patience, and the ability to create a nurturing, structured, and fun environment for children of different ages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I enjoy doing with children include planning creative arts and crafts, reading storybooks, and organizing fun outdoor play such as park visits, bike riding, and nature walks. I love engaging children in age-appropriate learning activities like puzzles, building blocks, educational games, and simple science or cooking projects that encourage curiosity and creativity.
I also enjoy music and movement activities, including singing songs, dancing, and interactive play that helps develop coordination and confidence. When appropriate, I support homework time and quiet reading to help build strong study habits.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safety first, loving, and consistent environment where children feel secure and valued. Trust is everything — both with the children and with the parents. I believe a nanny should not only provide care, but also serve as a positive role model, helping guide behavior, encourage independence, and support emotional growth.
It’s also important to communicate openly with parents, respect their parenting style, and work as a team to ensure the children’s needs are met. At the end of the day, knowing that the children feel happy, safe, and supported is what matters most.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when one of the children I cared for finally learned how to read her first full book on her own. We had been practicing every day, sounding out words together and building her confidence. The day she finished the book, she looked up at me so proud and said, “I did it!” Seeing her confidence grow and knowing I played a part in that milestone was incredibly rewarding.
Moments like that remind me why I love being a nanny — being part of a child’s growth, celebrating their achievements, and helping them feel supported and capable.
