A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Nubia! I have four younger siblings- from 1 year to 9 years old- and have been helping to care for them since I was 14 years old. However I have 3 years of experience consistently spending full days caring for them. I know how to turn tears into laughs, use patience in tense moments, and meet children where they’re at. I believe in gentle parenting and love to be a calming voice during moments of high stress.

My time watching my younger siblings has taught me also how to set up a routine that works for multiple age ranges! I can maneuver tough ages that require different levels of attention at once. I love using music, exercise, and learning times to structure the day and keep it interesting. I’m also highly attentive and always make sure the environment and activities are safe and attended to properly. I’m the type of babysitter that will do science experiments, dance parties, and fun lessons to help kids stretch their minds in a fun and age appropriate manner :)
