My experience with special needs children...
During my time as a camp counselor, I had the opportunity to work with children who had special needs, including ADHD, autism, and other common learning or behavioral differences. I learned how important patience, understanding, and clear communication are when supporting them. At camp, I helped create activities that were fun and inclusive while also giving extra guidance when needed. I enjoyed making sure every child felt included, safe, and supported, no matter their abilities.
