Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked at a preschool after school while in high school, and babysat regularly for the last 6 years. Before college, I volunteered at my church 1-2 times a week, working with ages 0 to 4th grade. In college, I have student taught K and 5th grade, as well as tutored multiple students. I regularly volunteer to watch kids for a local nonprofit both in Waco and Lawrence.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Crafts, reading, walks, going to parks, local activities (museums, rock climbing, zoos, etc), games (doctor, teacher, etc) board and card games, legos, outdoor games, water games, scavenger hunts, math/reading/phonics practice, (occasionally) watching a bluey episode:)

My experience with special needs children...
I have volunteered with camp Barnabus and worked with special needs adults for 3 weeks total, being their primary caregiver. Most of the people i helped take care of had Down syndrome. I have also volunteered with foster kids, many of whom sadly have trauma related behavioral issues and/or special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I recently took my four year old charge to a place to paint pottery and we had a blast! She kept commenting on how weird it was that we were taking so long, but every time I asked her if she wanted to go she would vehemently say no and say that she wasn’t finished with her unicorn yet!
