I was a daycare and preschool teacher, mostly specializing in infantry to 3 years. I did however work with all the age groups that we had.

The most important part of being a nanny, besides from keeping the kids safe, would be to really grow a connection with the kids and seeing them open up, learn, and become their own person.
My experience with special needs children...
I do have experience with special needs kids, more specifically with autism. I was the main babysitter for my youngest cousin who is autistic, and I was a volunteer within the special needs classrooms throughout middle and high school.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment would have to be when the kids and I were making mother's/father's day crafts and I could see the excitement in the kid's faces to give the gift to their parents when they came home.
