I really enjoy spending time with kids and keeping them busy with fun and educational activities. For younger kids, I like playing outside, doing sensory play, reading books, and simple learning games that help them grow. With older kids, I enjoy doing puzzles, brain games, arts and crafts, and even small science or building projects. I also love playing outside with them—things like tag, sports, or just exploring. I like making sure the activities are not only fun but also help them learn new skills and use their creativity.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is making sure the kids feel safe, cared for, and happy. It’s not just about watching them, but also being someone they can trust and have fun with. I believe patience, responsibility, and giving them my full attention matter the most. Kids look up to the people around them, so setting a good example and creating a positive environment is really important to me.
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have much experience working with special needs children yet, but I’m very open to learning and would love the opportunity to help. I’m patient, caring, and willing to listen and take direction to make sure I’m supporting them the best I can. I know every child is different, and I’d do my best to create a positive and fun environment where they feel safe and included.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny was when I made homemade lava lamps with the 3-year-old I was watching. It was so fun to see how excited and curious he was, and I loved being able to turn it into both a craft and a little science experiment. Watching his face light up as the “lava” started moving around made me realize how much I enjoy helping kids learn new things in fun and creative ways
