Tips to find a great nanny without overpaying
- Be flexible on experience. Some of the best nannies on the platform have 3–5 years on the job and charge meaningfully less than experienced nannies with 10+ years. References matter more than years.
- Consider a share. If your kids are similar ages and you live near another family, a share is the single biggest cost reduction available without compromising on care.
- Be specific about hours upfront. Most nannies will take a slightly lower rate for a guaranteed steady schedule than for a higher-rate, unpredictable one.
- Bundle benefits thoughtfully. Two weeks PTO, a health stipend, transit passes, education assistance, or an annual raise commitment can help close the gap with families offering a higher hourly rate.
- Match rate to responsibilities.A higher rate often makes sense once you add cooking, errands, or driving. Don't compare apples to oranges across listings.

A little bit about me
I really enjoy every aspect of helping kids grow and learn and explore as they go through all stages of life.
I have nannied for a few different families and babysat for countless. I have also worked at a family owned home daycare for 2 years. Following that, I worked with a family of two children, for five years. (Ages newborn-6 years). That brings us to my current position, which I have had for the past two years now, as a full time nanny for one incredible little girl. But she will be starting preschool in late August, so my schedule will be opening back up once again. The families that I have worked with have really become like family to me and vice versa.
I would love to find another family that I can bond and grow with.

A little bit about me
My name is Kendall, and I'm excited to apply for this babysitting position. I have two years of childcare experience caring for children of various ages, and I truly enjoy creating a safe, fun, and positive environment where kids can learn, play, and feel comfortable.
Through my childcare experience, I've been responsible for planning engaging activities, helping with daily routines, transporting children to and from school and extracurricular activities, and maintaining open communication with parents. My background in customer service and hospitality has also strengthened my patience, communication, and ability to stay calm and organized in busy situations.
I'm dependable, responsible, and genuinely love working with children. Building trusting relationships with both kids and parents is something I value, and I always strive to make families feel confident that their children are in good hands.
