Hello! I am currently looking for a warm, bubbly, and loving childcare professional to help care for our one year old during the week while I work from our home in Chicago, IL. The position would be M-Th from 9 AM - 4 PM, with potential for more hours if the fit is right. Responsibilities would include keeping our child safe and entertained with age-appropriate activities, feedings, naps, diaper changes, cleaning up after baby (nursery, bottles, dishes, laundry, etc.). Must be comfortable with animals as we have three large, very friendly dogs. Ideally our person would help with short potty breaks for the pups towards the end of their shift as well. Expectations would be professionalism, transparency, up to date on vaccinations, CPR certified, clean background report, experience with infants/toddlers, English as a first language, and we would also want this person to stick around long-term. Looking for a full-time nanny for our energetic and adorable 8.5 month old son, Maximilian. We need a nanny M-Th 8am-6pm and F 8am-5pm. We need a nanny with energy who will take him out to the park and play with him, watch him carefully all day, but also give him room to explore on his own. We do not have a television in our house and really only let Maximilian see screens when FaceTiming relatives. We expect that our nanny will be with him and will not be looking at a phone. The nanny will also be responsible for taking him to some classes in the area or in an Uber. Household responsibilities include keeping baby’s room and common areas clean and tidy, baby’s laundry, changing baby’s sheet, washing bottles, cleaning up after baby eats solids, preparing simple dinners for us (e.g., sheet pan dinners) and related cleanup, occasional errands.
