About us & the kids We're a Ravenna family looking for a warm, reliable person to help our two kids — ages 12 and 10 — through their weekday afternoons. They're genuinely great company: funny, kind, creative, and endlessly curious. What you'll do
• School pickup from their school in Queen Anne each afternoon and drive them home or to activities.
• Get them to their activities — think gymnastics, soccer, and supporting their online math sessions, which happen at home.
• Light kitchen tidying — dishes, wiping counters, keeping the space in good shape (no deep cleaning).
• Occasional project help — pitching in on the kids' school projects and small family to-dos as they come up.
• Optional evening babysitting if you're available and interested — always a bonus, never required.
Schedule
• Roughly 3 hours per afternoon, 4 days per week (about 12 hours/week), on a consistent weekly schedule.
• Open to occasional evening sitting for date nights, by mutual arrangement.
What we're looking for
• A clean driving record — this is a must, since you'll be driving our kids.
• A reliable, quality car in good condition — strongly preferred.
• Someone patient, dependable, and genuinely good with school-age kids.
• Comfortable keeping a light household routine and lending a hand on projects.
• CPR/First Aid certification and references are a plus (references required before hire).

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Legocki Family with 2 Children
Our family includes Dad and Mom (both surgeons), and two boys (4 and 2 years old). Our boys are gentle, silly, and affectionate. We are looking for a care giver and role model who would keep our boys safe, pick them up from school each weekday and spend an hour or two with them afterward. Having access to a safe car is a requirement, but we have car seats and would provide whatever else is helpful. The boys go to the same school, about 10 minutes from our home in Capitol Hill. At a minimum, the hours would be approximately 4:30 p.m. 6:00 p.m. each weekday. If you are interested in more hours, we are open to it! We are happy to discuss what you want and make the schedule work for you. For example: weekly date night for a few hours, a few weekend hours, and/or home help (cooking, laundry, light cleaning). We are looking for someone that can watch Henry between 9:30-4:30pm, which would include bottle-feeding, and 1-2 naps. We are still learning about Henry's schedule as he grows, but so far he is a relaxed little guy who loves going on walks and interacting with us and his family.
Our house has plenty of toys, and our neighborhood is safe, with great sidewalks for strollers. There is also a fantastic park down the street. Dad (Kyle) works full-time from home, so assistance won’t be too far away. We have a 4-year old daughter (Amelia) who will be enrolled in full-time preschool. We also have a mini bernedoodle named Ellie, who usually goes on a walk with Kyle during his lunch break, but may need to be let out to go to the bathroom, and ask for the occasional belly rub.
We're looking for someone who loves babies, and can provide a relaxed, engaging, nurturing environment. There is some flexibility in our schedule, so if the days of the week are a barrier, we could potentially discuss. Would love to start a conversation to get to know you.
