A little bit about us

Hello! We are seeking two part-time caregivers for our almost 1.5-year-old son, who is the light of our lives. Education and early childhood development are very important to us, and we strive to nurture good manners, curiosity, a love of learning, and an appreciation for the outdoors from an early age.

We are a “snowbird” family, living in Staatsburg, NY now through November / December and returning again in April. We are looking for two patient, nurturing caregivers who are comfortable with all aspects of toddler care—from wiggly diaper changes to helping navigate big emotions—while creating a safe, engaging, and loving environment.

Responsibilities include childcare, as well as light housekeeping and simple meal preparation for our son. We also have two small birds, so comfort around pets is important.

Reliable transportation is required.
CPR certification, along with additional childcare experience or credentials, is highly valued.

The schedule is as follows:
Nanny 1: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
Nanny 2: Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM

There will also be opportunities for additional hours on an as-needed basis.
