A little bit about us…

We are 1st time parents in Windermere with a 19 month old toddler. We would love to find a veteran nanny who can care for our little one long-term (1 year or more), who has at least 10 years experience with infants/toddlers & can teach us a few parenting tricks along the way. The ideal candidate would be available a minimum of 30 hours per week, bring a ton of energy and passion for the role and ideas to engage and entertain our little one in a way that will help him reach developmental milestones.

We would prefer our nanny to be CPR and First Aid certified, vaccinated against COVID-19 and following local/state guidance to protect yourself from infection.

We would like to introduce Spanish language as a second language, so if you are bilingual, that is a plus.

If you think you would be a good fit for our family, please contact us!

We would also like this candidate to be able to help with light household chores such as laundry and dishes and of course bottle washing. I have two other children who will be in school/daycare. Our family prefers someone bilingual as my husband and I were both raised this way and it is important to us. Person must be CPR certified and be vaccinated please. Looking to start mid November.

A little bit about us…

We are looking for a regular nanny to our son. He will be 20 months old upon start date in October, 2022. The days would be Monday- Saturday, 8am- 8pm. If you can split the days with another nanny that works too. Please contact us if interested for a more in-depth interview and conversation.

We are looking for someone competent with safe sleep; follows directions well; certified in infant CPR & first aid and choking prevention; can safely feed a 1-3year old; received all their vaccines (COVID, Tdap, flu, etc.); can pass a criminal background check; has a drivers license; has references.

We want someone who also meets the following qualifications as well: (1) How to deal with difficult behaviors, for example when a child isn't obeying you; (2) How to conduct yourself professionally as a babysitter and communicate with parents; (3) When it's appropriate to call 911 versus a parent; (4) How to handle medical emergencies like asthma attacks or bee stings.

The caregiver must be familiar with maneuvering a baby proofed home. Our home is ENTIRELY baby proofed and we expect it to remain that way. If something is missing or loose, we must be notified. The caregiver must always have the baby proof locks in the “active” position and be sure to lock everything behind them to prevent accidents.

The caregiver must understand childhood development and milestones and be alert so as to let me know if anything changes with our son’s development. The caregiver must have a great understanding of how to engage toddler age children and enhance their growth and development.

It is important that the caretaker know the signs and symptoms of an impending illness to watch out for should James develop a cold (monitor for fever; diarrhea; abdominal discomfort; rash; redness, etc). It is important that our son is monitored well with his health and safety. In the same vain, expect that if the caregiver is sick they will not show up to work/ and let us know ahead of time.
