A little bit about us

We are a family of four that lives in Glen Allen. We have two lovely boys for whom we are looking for an experienced and energetic nanny. Our youngest is 11 mo and oldest is 2.5 years old. Both are currently in daycare, but we are looking to take them out soon. The ideal candidate would be willing to take them on walks, visit the play ground, as well as care for them at home (e.g., strengthening and cognitive activities, bath, etc.). We also have memberships to the Richmond zoo and Children’s museum. My husband and I have very demanding careers, and we need someone that can be flexible and help with whatever tasks we might need help with that day (e.g., laundry for the children, errands if time permits).

We estimate the number of hours a week to be about 40 hours, and we will guarantee 30 hrs/week. My husband and I both work full-time, and we split our time between the office and home. We have flexible work schedules, so we are willing to accommodate day and time preferences. Some light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation for the child's food, etc. is required. We do have a housekeeper and landscaper that comes once a week. Please be comfortable with pets, as we have one dog. Candidate must be vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19.

We are only interested in experienced nannies, please.

Starting pay based on skills and experience: $20-24.
Paid time off: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day, Easter, July 4th
Three paid sick days per year
Two weeks paid vacation per year

We are looking for someone with a reliable vehicle, CPR certification, non-smoker and fully vaccinated. We have a 5 lb dog so you must be pet friendly.
