Full-Time Nanny Job: The Askham Family with 1 Child

$27 - $31/hr

A little bit about us

We are looking for a warm, communicative, and collaborative family assistant to care for our sweet, lively, 21 month old daughter.

Long Term Position: We can offer a contract commitment of one year with possibility to extend for a second year.

Work from home details: Dad WFH about 2 days per week. Mom WFH full time. Both have dedicated office spaces.

Pets: We have 1 social cat. No care needed on a day-to-day basis. When we are away, twice daily check-ins Tuesday - Friday will be part of nanny's responsibilities if not taking PTO.

Responsibilities:
- Planning a light weekly routine for early childhood learning and educational play
- Driving to scheduled activities such as library events, gym, or music classes
- Child's meal prep and dishes
- Child's laundry 1x/week and as needed
- Family laundry 1-2x/week
- Family dishes (dishwasher & light kitchen tidying)
- When family is away, care for one cat 2x per day, if not taking PTO

Our ideal candidate has:
- Experience with toddler care and milestones
- Strong interest in being engrossed in early childhood activities and playing outside
- A communicative approach with parents who love to be in the loop

Requirements/Credentials:
- TDAP booster, MMR, seasonal flu shot required; COVID vaccine at least once, boosters preferred
- Current CPR certificate for Infants, Toddlers and Children
- Nanny will need to have their own car with proof of auto insurance; mileage reimbursed at IRS rate
