I am looking for care for my 6-week-old infant. I would like someone who is patient, nurturing, and willing to help follow an age-appropriate daily schedule. My baby is breastfed, so experience caring for breastfed infants is preferred. During wake windows, I would like the caregiver to engage in healthy developmental activities such as tummy time, reading, talking, singing, and other age-appropriate interactions.
My baby's ideal day follows a consistent routine of eating, sleeping, and engaging in age-appropriate activities during wake windows. I would like the caregiver to support healthy sleep habits, feedings, diaper changes, and developmental activities that encourage growth and bonding. Maintaining a predictable schedule is important.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Amiri Family with 1 Child
Hello! I am currently looking for a warm, bubbly, and loving childcare professional to help care for our one year old during the week while I work from our home in Chicago, IL. The position would be M-Th from 9 AM - 4 PM, with potential for more hours if the fit is right. Responsibilities would include keeping our child safe and entertained with age-appropriate activities, feedings, naps, diaper changes, cleaning up after baby (nursery, bottles, dishes, laundry, etc.). Must be comfortable with animals as we have three large, very friendly dogs. Ideally our person would help with short potty breaks for the pups towards the end of their shift as well. Expectations would be professionalism, transparency, up to date on vaccinations, CPR certified, clean background report, experience with infants/toddlers, English as a first language, and we would also want this person to stick around long-term. I have two daughters. One is six and the other is 12. They are both in school during the day. The tough part (maybe) is my schedule. I’m a firefight and am gone for 24 hours. I would be looking for someone who can watch my girls 3 to 4 times per month for about 25 hours at a time. From 6am to about 7:30 the following morning. I work 1 day and am off for 2. This means the days wouldn’t be the same days from month to month. I do know my schedule for the rest of my carrier so it would be easy to let you know what days I would need help far down the road.
My girls are super sweet and love people. We would appreciate the help.
