Warm, young family is searching for occasional needs care in Guilford, CT. The babysitter will be primarily responsible for care 3 year old girl after preschool, and pick up of 6 year old boy from school. Looking for someone who can smoothly help keep things running in collaborative partnership sharing childcare, light snack and dinner prep, tidying of children’s play areas and common areas, helping with laundry, errands, etc. Can guarantee at least 25 hours a week with schedule set 1-2 months in advance. Super happy, easy, loving kids. Lively, Montessori inspired household with kid-friendly art projects, reading, creative playing in garden and outdoors. Home is in a beautiful natural setting adjacent to trails, lakes and 500 acre open preserve but just a short drive from the Guilford town center. Seeking someone with enthusiasm for creative, imaginative play with young kids and who enjoys the outdoors in all seasons and sharing fun discoveries.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Christison-Lagay Family with 3 Children

We are looking for afternoon help with child pick up as well as some meal prep and household errands. We are an active family of five including 3 boys ages 2, 6, and 10. Job would consist of approximately 20 hours a week (generally 2-6 p.m. M-F). This would allow for a couple hours of errands, light household chores and meal prep, followed by picking boys up at respective after-school programs/day care/summer camp and bringing them home or shuttling them to practices. All transport is local (Branford/Guilford) but a reliable car is necessary. We will provide carseats/boosters and reimburse for mileage. We also have an affectionate 75 lb hound, so must be ok with big dogs.
