A little bit about us

We have a 2 month old boy who we are looking for a nanny to come and help out while my wife works from home.
Our little man, Nolawi, has a pretty straight forward routine but it does take some effort. He wakes up from a nap, eats, burps, then has a wake window for about an hour where he does tummy time and we read books to him. After that he gets fussy and then wants to take a nap.
He still needs help sleeping, so we have to put him in a swaddle and bounce/rock him to sleep and he sleeps for roughly 30 min to an hour and at most 2 hours and then the routine starts over. We would generally need a nanny from 10am to 3pm daily.

A good fit is someone who can also help them with homework and read with our five year old. Some light housework would be helpful like kids’ laundry, cleaning up after meals and activities, keeping toys and kids’ materials organized. Qualities were looking for include responsible, trustworthy, kind, patient, energetic, creative, empathic, and warm. I am a clinical psychologist and my husband is a public health physician so we have demanding jobs. Therefore reliability is a must! Ideally, we’d like someone who can stay with our family over time and adjust to each other’s fluctuating schedules. For example, we’d need more hours over the summer when kids are home to take them to the pool, park, camps, etc.

Our ideal schedule is M-F evenings from 3:25pm-7:00pm
