Part-Time Nanny Job: The Shoffner Family with 2 Children
We are looking for someone to help transition the kids from school to evening activities. I start a new position in September, and will switch from being 100% remote to hybrid and potentially having to be in office or on a call in the late afternoon. My kids are energetic, love reading, and are typically self sufficient. They do need reminders for keeping routine / cleaning up and transition from school to practice clothes and homework.
We’re looking for someone to work Monday through Friday from 3:30 - 5:30. Primary responsibility will be the kids, but may also include kid laundry or helping tidy the kitchen (unload / load dishwasher) or meal prep.

I am a travel tech who is currently seeking a professional and experienced in-home nanny to provide reliable childcare support for my children. I have a busy schedule that involves traveling frequently, and I need someone trustworthy to ensure that my kids are well taken care of in my absence.
The primary responsibilities of this role will include ensuring that my children are awake, prepared, and ready for school and daycare in the mornings. Additionally, the nanny will be expected to pick them up from daycare, prepare their meals, and facilitate their nightly routine, ensuring they are settled for bed.
Key duties and requirements for the position are as follows:
1. Drop-off and Pick-up: Safely transporting the children to and from school and daycare.
2. Meal Preparation: Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children, considering any dietary restrictions or preferences.
3. Daily Routine: Assisting with the children's morning routine, ensuring they are appropriately dressed and ready for the day. Facilitating a consistent and structured routine in the evenings, including activities, homework, and bath time.
4. Safety and Well-being: Maintaining a safe and secure environment for the children at all times. Being attentive to their needs and providing emotional support when required.
5. Communication: Keeping open lines of communication with parents and updating them on any noteworthy events, activities, or concerns.
The ideal candidate for this position should have proven experience in caring for children, preferably with formal training or certifications in infant and child CPR and first aid. Punctuality, reliability, and a genuine love for children are essential qualities we are looking for in a nanny.
The position will require availability on weekdays, varying according to my travel schedule. Compensation will be provided based on experience and the agreed-upon terms.
