Morning Childcare & Homestead Helper Needed – Mon–Fri 8–11am
We are a family of six in Colorado Springs looking for a reliable, energetic person to help with childcare and light household tasks on weekday mornings.
HOURS

THE CHILDREN
We have four children: a 6-month-old, a 2-year-old, a 6-year-old, and an 8-year-old.
You will be primarily responsible for the infant and toddler, while providing supervision and support to the older two as they work through their morning responsibilities. My husband works from home and is on the property if backup is ever needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Infant care (babywearing, bottle feeding, baby-led weaning foods — always supervised)
- Toddler care and engagement
- Supervising older children through morning routines
- Light kitchen help (dishes, tidying after breakfast)
- Occasional grocery pickup from Sam's Club or Walmart on your way in
- Airbnb turnover help on select days (compensated separately)
- Possible light homestead projects such as organizing the garage or office, or helping with outdoor builds
- Occasional outings to our cabin property approximately 50 minutes from Colorado Springs
OUR HOME
We have a relaxed but structured morning routine. The kids care for backyard chickens and rabbits, tidy their rooms, and work toward goals. We prefer outdoor play, reading, coloring, and bike rides over screen time, though TV in moderation is fine. It's an active, nature-oriented household.
COMPENSATION

Small household purchases under $20 are reimbursed.

Babysitter Job: The Montoya Family with 1 Child
I’m looking for exceptional care for my five month going on six month old daughter.
I am currently in the process of accepting a part-time nursing position at a medical clinic here locally. The care would be required for just her during the day while I’m away at work.
The hours would typically be from 715 to about 2:15p, three days a week.
I am looking for somebody who is comfortable with Nanny cams in the home and is comfortable with infant care. She’s incredibly mobile already at the stage in her life and is taking solids. I need somebody who is attentive and patient on top of trustworthy and reliable.
She’s a fairly easy Baby she does, however, have difficulty fighting her sleep- her naps are very sporadic and not specifically planned. I’m also looking for somebody who’s comfortable with large dogs. Our dog would need to be let out occasionally every couple of hours.
He follows commands and is well behaved and he knows his responsibilities when he’s in the house.
My husband gets off of work at around 2 o’clock. It takes him about 25 minutes to get home so you would be responsible for their care until he gets home.

Newborn baby coming May 2025! My husband and I have been together 10 years, moved to Colorado in 2022, and are habing our first child this year. We are so excited to welcome our tiny human, but know that they'll need a village. We hope you'll consider being oart of ours! We're looking for an at at-home nanny to support our transition back to work, and beyond. Services would begin in July 2025. Wr are currently looking at 3 week-days per week at about 10 hours per day, and as-needed nannying for date nights or events on the weekend. We have two cats and my service dog, so some extremely light pet care may be involved day to day (primarily with the cats). Other household chores related to baby safety and cleanliness may also be involved. The ideal nanny would be someone who is patient with us and our newborn, appreciates routine, is a strong communicator, and shares our values in raising a kind, compassionate, and securely attached human.
