Part-Time Nanny Job: The Bera Family with 1 Child
We are looking for a long-term nanny (ideally at least a year) who is reliable, flexible, and consistent. Reliable transportation is a must.
My partner and I have non-traditional schedules. I primarily work 24-hour shifts, though occasionally I work 12-hour days or nights. On days I work, we’d need someone from 6a–7p, and after a 24-hour shift, we’d need coverage the following morning from 6a–2p. It typically ranges from about 2–4 days a week depending on my schedule. While the schedule isn’t traditional, you would have it in advance - we already have it mapped out through September, and soon through June 30 of next year. Hours range from about 80–140 a month, averaging around 100 hours/month. We are open to discussing hourly vs. salary for the right person.
Our daughter just turned 1 and we are looking for someone who brings creativity and energy to her day — age-appropriate play, trips to the park, walks, and keeping her engaged and learning. We are a no screen time family, so we’re hoping to find someone who can really connect with her and keep her stimulated throughout the day. We do meal prep at home so food is usually prepared, but we’d love someone comfortable stepping in with meals if needed, as well as light tidying and laundry.
One thing to mention is we do have a Rottweiler. She typically goes to the gym with my partner during the day, but we want to make sure you’re comfortable around dogs. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, we’d be happy to share an example of the June and July schedule so you can get a feel for what it looks like in practice.
Please let me know if you’d like to set up a time to discuss more in person so we can meet you and you can meet our family. Thank you for your time!

Hi! I’m a new mom with a baby boy born in late April. My husband and I are attorneys, and we both have pretty flexible offices, so 30 hours per week or less should work for us. He’s a happy baby right now, but he does not nap very much.
Welcome to watch him at my house!! We do have two dogs. They’re really good, but they are labs and love to play. You can keep them outside in our fenced in backyard most of the time! They would probably prefer that lol.
Augie is breastfed but he takes bottles as eagerly as a boob, so I don’t foresee that being an issue. We have several subscription services to keep you entertained!
