Looking for a mother helper to do various tasks in our home for 2 hours, 3 times a week. My son is homeschooled and has tutors and childcare. This person would be helping me with basic household tasks like folding clothes, starting dinner, very light cleaning. Pet friendly as we have two large dogs.

Key Responsibilities:
• School & Daycare Transportation: Safe morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups (must have a clean driving). Vehicle (2025 Honda Odyssey to be provided).
• Daily Care & Activities:
• Engaging, age-appropriate play and learning for the toddler (songs, sensory activities, story time, outdoor play, simple crafts).
• Homework help and enrichment activities for the older kids.
• Light meal prep, snacks, and maintaining a safe, clean play environment.
• General household tasks related to the children (laundry, tidying toys, etc.).
• Flexibility with occasional evenings or date nights.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience: At least 2+ years of professional nanny or childcare experience, especially with toddlers and school-age kids. CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to get certified).
• Personality: Warm, patient, creative, and reliable. Someone who loves kids and can keep the energy high while maintaining structure and routines.
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license, clean background check, non-smoker, references required.
• Passion for child development and creating joyful, educational moments every day.
Schedule & Compensation:
• Flexible schedule (approximately 40-50 hours/week, 40 hours guaranteed even if family is out of town, Monday–Friday).

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Cook Family with 1 Child
Hello! We are looking for someone who can watch and play with our 2.5 yr old son, Liam, for at least half a day, most weekdays. We're biased, but he's an absolute joy and has such a sense of curiosity and play. I (dad) work from home full-time, but am unable to watch him simultaneously. We need an extra pair of hands to help give him the attention he needs so my mom can work on her school and work for at least half a day. We're primarily looking for help in the morning, from about 8-12 or so. In addition to our son we have two dogs and a cat, all friendly! Given mom is pregnant with number 2 (due in June), we would prefer a COVID vaccinated individual to lower the risk of exposure in our house. We appreciate any help that we can get here, especially in these times, so I look forward to hearing from you!

School location is 7 minutes from the house through neighborhoods (no major roads). We will supply you with a car seat.
We have both cats and dogs (a senior and a puppy) in the house. The puppy can be crated.

My husband and I are both engineers and I work from home part time and he is usually able to work from home the days I'm in the office. That is getting harder to do with our current workloads and with Riley getting older, we'd love for her to get some education and socialization. I am still worried about COVID exposure and would be looking for someone who is vaccinated and safe.
I tend to go in the office Mondays and Wednesdays and would like to expand that to include Tuesdays or Thursdays, but that is flexible at this point. We do have two large dogs that are sweethearts and tend to just either want to go into the back yard or sleep on the couch most of the day. I wouldn't expect any pick-up or drop-off at this point and the dogs won't need any special care with the fenced in yard.
Riley is hitting a super fun age and has started walking and talking (a little) and starting to know what she wants. She is sweet and funny and great at self-play. As mentioned, she has not had much opportunity for socialization, so I'm looking forward to how other child interaction will help her development.
We are really looking for someone who can start right away as I have a business trip coming up that we have no support for. Our entire family lives in Connecticut right now, so there's no grandparent drop off option. We're looking for someone to help us and appreciate your consideration.
