Full-Time Nanny Needed (2-Year-Old | San Luis Obispo | Starting July)
Hi! We’re a warm, easygoing family looking for a nanny for our 2-year-old daughter starting in July. Finding the right fit is most important to us, so we’re flexible on timing for the right person.
We’re hoping to find someone who is active, playful, kind, patient, and confident working independently—someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with toddlers and supporting their development through play.
Schedule:
We are currently needing full-time schedule (Monday-Friday 8AM–3PM, Wednesday 12-4pm)
Pay:
$20–25/hour depending on experience
What the days look like:
• Screen-free, engaging play (we value creativity, outdoor time, and connection)
• Supporting age-appropriate development through play and routine
• Occasional outings (library, parks, music classes) once everyone is comfortable
• Light household support during downtime (family laundry, dishes, tidying, simple meal prep)
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has recent experience with toddlers (and ideally infants)
• Is dependable, responsible, and takes initiative
• Enjoys being active and interactive (not just supervising)
• Is looking for a long-term position
• Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Is CPR certified
• Is a non-smoker
• Is comfortable with dogs (we have a friendly, house-trained dog)
• Can provide strong, recent references
A little about us:
I have a flexible schedule and may occasionally be home, but we value giving our nanny space and autonomy during the day. We’re looking for someone who feels like a natural extension of our family.
If this sounds like a good fit, we’d love to connect—please reach out with your experience and a little about yourself!
