A little bit about us

Hello! Looking for 3-4 days a week nanny support for a 17 month old boy, Beckett. He's a sweet boy and we are told he's pretty chilld :) Up to 8 hour days if we are a good fit and opt for fewer days but otherwise 5 hr days, 4 days a week. Flexible as one parent works from home. We are also expecting a baby girl in December but I'll be on maternity leave, of course. We are just wanting to make sure Beckett has consistent 1:1 time and attention when there's a newborn. Beckett takes a 2-3 hr nap at noon. Also open to nanny-sharing. We live in Golden Hill but open to discussion with locations, pick-up and or drop off. Light housework and meal-prep required. Bilingual is a bonus!

Key Responsibilities
Infant Care: Provide attentive care focusing on safety, emotional security, and developmental growth
Routine: Follow and maintain a consistent schedule for naps, bottle feedings, and wake windows
Development: Engage in age-appropriate play, including tummy time, reading, and sensory activities
Hygiene: Handle frequent diaper changes, keep the nursery tidy, and clean baby items daily
Meal Prep: Wash, sterilize, and prepare formula or breastmilk bottles. Help transition to solid foods. Note: Mom will have prepared food, so you will not have to cook
Laundry: Wash, fold, and put away the baby's clothing and bedding
Light Housekeeping tasks

Position Requirements
Infant Knowledge: Deep understanding of infant milestones, safe sleep practices, and choking hazards
Certifications: Current Infant CPR and First Aid certifications
References: Strong references from previous families; past infant care experience is a major plus
Background Check: Clear criminal background check and a clean driving record
Health: Up to date on standard vaccinations (including Tdap and the flu shot) to protect the baby

We are looking for a loving, reliable, and trustworthy nanny to help care for our sweet 2-month-old daughter, Charlotte, beginning in November, with the possibility of starting sooner for a few days here and there.
