Full-Time Nanny Job: The Thomsen Family with 2 Children
*Active Listing as of August 2026, our planned for nanny fell through* Our baby boy was born March 2026 and my husband and I are putting together a nanny share in the Edgewater/Sloan's Lake area starting October 2026 when baby boy will be 6 months old. We'd like to find a nanny first and have stable childcare with just one child. If we find another family with a similar aged child who are a good fit, we'd like the option to make it a nanny share in the future. Our goal is to do Nanny share until baby boy is 3 years old and starts preschool, so a caregiver who wants a long term relationship is preferred for consistency is our son's life. Our current plan is Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm and a half day Friday 8:30 am - 12:30 pm (36 hours a week total). We have a medium size friendly dog. Part-Time Nanny Job: The Harrison Family with 2 Children
We are looking for a nanny + mother's helper for 3 days/week (Tue - Thur, 8a - 4p), about 24 hrs/week total, though this can flex from time to time if you're interested. There are 2 kids, but it will primarily be one when my son is at Pre-K on Tue/Thur. The kids are so sweet: A 2 year old girl, and 4 year old boy. There's no pick up, drop off, pet care, errands, etc. The kids are doing great, good eaters, sleepers, and pottiers, so we are looking for someone to help keep them on that great track, focus on maintaining their schedule, and integrate with our household routine. Communication, trust, and consistency in how we handle things is crucial. It's really important to us that we make the most of our time with the kids, and so some light housekeeping is really helpful in supporting our parenting. This typically looks like daily laundry, dishes, keeping the floors clean, tidying up, and sometimes some food prep (thinking chopping onions, not preparing dinner for 4). We like the kids to go outside every day, even if it's just to toss a ball together or ride their tricycle around the driveway. It would be great if you were looking for something long term.
